| Smollensky’s on The Strand is a stylish North American basement restaurant and cocktail bar on one of London’s most famous streets. The menu is modern American, but also has a few Mediterranean and Oriental twists to it. It is designed to appeal to all tastes, particularly anyone who loves good meat and fish, and also includes a fantastic choice of dishes for vegetarians and children. The all-American staples include steaks served with thin-cut fries, and delicious hickory-smoked ribs. There is also salt and pepper squid encased in crunchy batter, scallop ceviche, and sweet boiled crayfish, chicken and spicy chorizo. Sinful desserts, Happy Hours and children’s entertainment at weekend lunches are available to tempt you further. The cool bar area at the front is always busy with post-work drinkers and diners waiting for their tables.
